Kaz is running out of time, so after a recovery period, Big Boss gets back in the game and goes to fetch him. Ocelot introduces Big Boss to the Diamond Dogs, which has been established in his absence because Kaz has a boner for the PMC game. In response to the news of Big Boss coming to, Kaz gets captured. Ocelot (sent by Cipher) and XOF (sent by Skullface) make their way to the hospital, Big Boss escapes.
Oh and Ocelot will backstab and stuff because he's Ocelot.īoss wakes up, word gets out. I'm unsure if Kaz will actually break away from Big Boss or if he will put on an act and separate from Big Boss as MG1 begins.Īgain this is just speculation and its pretty much the only way I see TPP working out. This sets everything up for Big Boss to later on establish Outer Heaven on the side while leading FOXHOUND in the US. He'll learn, before killing Skull Face, that he did all of this to get Zero and Big Boss to have a common enemy and once Big Boss eliminates him Zero will think nothing of it if Kaz and Big Boss return to the US and form the Patriots (Yes I know they supposedly formed earlier on, but from Big Boss' perspective right now it seems like he's still out of the loop on LET, let alone the Patriots formation). Stuff will happen, Big Boss will learn more of Zero's future plans and also learn that Skull Face did the deed earlier on in Ground Zeroes.
Big Boss and Kaz are burning with revenge and want to kill Zero, whom they think plotted the destruction of Mother Base but in actuality it was Skull Face and his XOF troops acting on their own under the guise of Zero's doing. Not noting any references or anything to back me up, here's what I'm assuming is going to be the just of The Phantom Pain:īig Boss saves Kaz and you rebuild Mother Base to establish the new Diamond Dogs crew.
